About the Library

The Howell Library offers a collection of print and non-print materials that support the college's curricula, professional development, and personal enrichment for Wake Tech students, faculty, staff, and the Wake County community.

The library holds books and periodicals in print and electronic formats. Our pamphlet collection contains many important educational, historical, cultural, and political reports. Our audiovisual collection contains works in compact disc, film, slide, audiotape, audiobook, DVD, transparency, and videotape formats.

The library also houses the Teaching Resource Center (TRC), which serves as a meeting space for faculty as well as a repository of teaching resources.

We have Internet access designated for college and community use, and each user may access thousands of electronic journals, newspapers, and books offered through our electronic research databases.
