Teaching Resource Center

Note: All critical thinking materials (SACS documents, meeting minutes and agenda, and portfolio samples) are now housed in Eagles Nest under the TRC link.

The Teaching Resource Center (TRC) has two locations: Room 114 in the Bruce I. Howell Library and Room 137A in the North Campus Library. This room is kept secure, accessible by staff upon faculty requests.

The TRC houses the following:

The TRC provides a comfortable and convenient location for small groups (5-6 people) to discuss, share, and collaborate on various projects.

The mission statement is as follows:

Wake Tech Libraries provides a facility, equipment and materials, resource suggestions, and support for the faculty of Wake Technical Community College in the form of a Teaching Resource Center (TRC).

The concept of the TRC developed from the resource sub-committee for the QEP Critical Thinking Task Force, and will be further expanded to include other components for faculty development such as resources on leadership and those related to curriculum development.
